Dr. David Paino set out to be the dentist his family never had

“As a child, I had an old school dentist who was pretty rough around the edges, and my family shared countless horror stories. I always thought I could change their perception of what a dentist is and what a dental appointment should be like.”

So the practice runs the other way: appointments with time built in, a plan you see before anything starts, and sedation for anyone who wants it. Dr. Paino trained at the University of Maryland’s Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and did his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. He is a member of the AACD and the Spear Study Club, and trained in the Marshall Hanson method of no-drill veneers.

Your child’s first visit: when the first teeth come in, and by age two

Bring them along to your own cleaning first, for a “Happy Visit”, so the chair and the people are familiar. Their appointments are kept short, and laughing gas is there if they need it.

We’re close to several Vienna schools and open at 7:30, so a checkup can come before the school bell.
